How Perplexity bills your card
A Perplexity plan bought on the web is charged to the card on file each billing period. A plan bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play is billed and managed there, and Perplexity warns that changing payment details in those stores can start a second subscription.
Adding or changing the card
Open your account settings, go to Subscription and click Manage Plan, then add the card under Billing and Shipping Information: the number, expiry date and CVV from My cards, with the billing details shown there. A change applies to future invoices only.
Enterprise Pro
For Enterprise Pro, Perplexity lists Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, and invoice billing with 7-day payment terms for annual subscriptions, where bank or wire transfer is possible (checked October 2026).
If the payment fails
Perplexity's help center suggests asking the card's issuer to allow the subscription charge and trying again. For a ZenVCC card, first check that the billing details match those in My cards. Still failing? Contact support at support@zenvcc.com with the card's reference number from My cards. Each merchant decides which cards it accepts, so no card provider can guarantee acceptance.
