In short
To pay for Microsoft 365 with a virtual card, buy a card at ZenVCC from a balance funded with crypto, then add it under Payment options in your Microsoft account. Microsoft's support pages say a personal Microsoft account can use a credit card, debit card, bank account, PayPal or mobile phone, and that gift cards and account balance cannot buy a Microsoft 365 subscription (checked October 2026). ZenVCC's Microsoft Payment Card is made for Microsoft payments.

How Microsoft bills your card
A Microsoft 365 subscription with recurring billing renews on the payment method saved in your Microsoft account. Business subscriptions are billed through the billing profile in the Microsoft 365 admin center instead of a personal account.
Adding the card
Sign in to your Microsoft account, open Payment options and add a card: the number, expiry date and CVV from My cards, with the billing details shown there. Then choose it as the payment method for your subscription.
Prepaid codes
Microsoft says a subscription paid with a download code or single-use token shows "Paid with pre-paid card", and recurring billing can't be turned on for it: you buy a new one when it expires.
Gift cards and balance
Microsoft account balance can pay for Xbox-related subscriptions but not Microsoft 365, and gift cards or balance can't pay a past-due subscription, according to Microsoft Support (checked October 2026).
If the payment fails
Microsoft suggests checking with the card's issuer when a new payment method can't be added. For a ZenVCC card, first check that the billing details match those in My cards. Still failing? Contact support at support@zenvcc.com with the card's reference number from My cards. Each merchant decides which cards it accepts, so no card provider can guarantee acceptance.
