Anti-money laundering policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This policy explains how ZenVCC ("we") works to stop zenvcc.com being used for money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions evasion. It applies to every account, deposit and card, alongside our terms of service and acceptable use policy.
It describes how we work. It isn't a licence or a regulator's approval, and ZenVCC is a technology platform, not a bank.
What isn't allowed
You can't use ZenVCC to hide where money came from, to spend the proceeds of crime, to finance terrorism or to get around sanctions.
You also can't use crypto or an identity that belongs to someone else without their permission, let someone else move money through your account, or split deposits or purchases to avoid our checks.
Identity checks
We may ask you to verify your identity before you buy a card or at any time after that. We ask for photos of a national ID card, driving licence or passport, and a selfie holding it, and our team reviews every submission.
We may also ask what the account is for or where your funds came from. If you don't give us what we ask for, or we can't verify it, we may suspend or close your account.
Sanctions
You can't use ZenVCC if you're subject to sanctions, or to pay anyone who is. We don't list cards from countries under comprehensive international sanctions. If we learn that an account is linked to a sanctioned person or country, we suspend or close it.
Checking deposits
You fund your balance with crypto only, and you should send it only from a wallet or exchange account you control. We check each deposit on its blockchain before we credit your balance, and we keep its coin, network, amount and transaction hash.
If a deposit needs a closer look, its status in your dashboard says so. We may hold or decline it while we look into it.
Limits built into the service
Your balance can only be used on ZenVCC. The dashboard has no withdrawals and no way to send balance to another customer, and money on a card can't be moved back to your balance or to a bank.
Looking into unusual activity
Our team may look more closely at an account when its details don't match or seem false, when accounts appear to be linked, when deposits or purchases look unusual, or when a card issuer, a merchant or an authority raises a concern.
What we may do
We may ask you for more information, decline a deposit or purchase, hold or cancel a card order that's still being prepared, block an IP address, or suspend or close your account. If your account is suspended, the reason is shown when you sign in, unless the law stops us.
Where the law requires it, we report activity to the authorities and answer lawful requests for information. The law may stop us telling you that we've done so. Banks and card networks that issue cards have their own rules against money laundering, and those apply too.
Records
We keep records of deposits, balance changes and purchases for as long as our books, fraud checks and legal duties need them, including after an account is deleted. Our privacy policy explains what else we keep, and what deleting an account removes.
Reporting a concern
If you think someone is misusing ZenVCC, or that your account, card or crypto has been misused, email support@zenvcc.com.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters to you, we'll also tell you on the site or by email.
